Discover the Magic of Park County Leadership Institute
Proram Overview
The Park County Leadership Institute is a nine-month program, running from September through May, with one full-day session each month.
Sessions combine:
- Community-based learning
- Interactive discussions
- Exposure to local and regional leaders
- Deep dives into issues impacting Park County
Participants are expected to attend all sessions. Graduation from the program requires consistent participation.

- One full day per month
- Locations vary throughout Park County
Final dates and locations are shared after participant selection.
Who should apply
Ideal Candidates
PCLI seeks applicants who:
- Live or work in Park County, Wyoming
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to community service
- Are curious, engaged, and open to diverse perspectives
- Have leadership potential through employment or volunteer roles
- Can commit to the full program schedule
- Have employer support for participation
Self-nominations are welcome, with employer approval required.
Selection Process
Participants are selected by a committee that prioritizes:
- Motivation for service in Park County
- Leadership potential and integrity
- Ability to commit fully to the program
- Balanced representation across geography, profession, and background
tuition & commitment
Tuition
- $1,000 per participant
- Includes all program materials and meals
- Participants are responsible for transportation
- Full tuition due by August 1, 2026
Limited tuition assistance information is available upon request.
Time Commitment
Participation requires:
- One full day per month (September–May)
- Employer support for release time
- Engagement beyond the classroom
This program is designed for individuals ready to invest time and energy into their community.
